BONN has been my home away from home. I have included some pictures of the best host family anyone could ask for, some of my study abroad group, and miscellaneous things around Bonn. I am going to miss this place with all my heart.
So this is the Billen Family!!
It consists of Gerd, Irmgard, Ruth (17), and Paula (13), myself and my roommate Deasia...oh and our dog Ben. My oldest sister Clara is off at school in Berlin so I did not get to see her as often. They are the perfect example of a loving family. We ate dinner ever night together, went on hikes, and just spent quality time together all around. I will miss them like no other!

These are some pictures of my study abroad group from our farewell party and just hanging out at school and around Bonn. These people have seriously become some of my best friends. I assumed I would make friends on this trip but I didn't think I would leave getting to know 25 of the coolest people ever. They really made my experience extraordinary.

Wow...I actually feel sad that you're leaving. How weird. I mean I am ecstatic to be able to see you again after 5 long months, but I am sad because I know that Bonn was your home and the Billen family was your family. I hope that even though this transition may be a little difficult that you realize how mush you are loved and how much we have missed you here in the States. I am looking forward to when I can meet your host family next summer. I know that I will love them as much as you do. I have missed you so much Lauren, and I hope that you will take the blessings and gifts you have received on this trip and use them here as you move forward with your life. I love you with all my heart, and I am so proud of you. Mommy
