Berlin Wall - East Side Art Gallery

This is the eastern side of the Berlin wall. After the cold war was over and the wall fell, artists were chosen to express themselves on this strip of the wall that was left standing. Some of the murals that we saw were very engaging, emotional, and very colorful.

  1. Lauren...I am stunned. Truly in awe. the wall is beautiful a natural, miraculous beautiful piece of art that emerged from such hatred. And oh my gosh you were actually inside the camps and saw the housing - I swear my heart skipped a beat. Paris is nothing short of divine. And Karneval...definitely a party on top of a party! I am seriously thinking about about applying for a sabbatical which would allow me to live and study in Europe for a semester and get paid half-pay. If I did i would totally duplicate your trip in every way. Just need to win the lotto first. You are learning and APPRECIATING so much abojut Europe, it's history, its culture and its people. You are experiencing what most people only dream of... I love you and I am praying for even more gratifying experiences for you. You are my heart and my love. Mommy
