Berlin Wall - East Side Art Gallery

This is the eastern side of the Berlin wall. After the cold war was over and the wall fell, artists were chosen to express themselves on this strip of the wall that was left standing. Some of the murals that we saw were very engaging, emotional, and very colorful.

Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp

A lot of the camp hadn't survived over the years so we had to imagine where buildings would have been and certain things like that. Being here was a surreal experience. It was so weird to read about something, study it, then actually be there.

BERLIN

This trip was such a fun and educational trip! We visited a concetration camp, Parliament, east side art gallery, and learned a lot about the cold war! Overall, a really great experience!

PARIS- MONTMARTRE

Topped by the white Sacre-Coeur basilica, Montmartre is the highest Paris hill at 130 meters. Very rural until a century ago, Montmartre is nowadays the last village in the big city of Paris. It still keeps a subtle and unique atmosphere in spite of the affluence of tourists from all over the world.Today, the many painters on Place du Tertre are always ready to sketch out your face, a nice souvenir of Paris.They remind us of the many pennyless artists, with among them Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh and Picasso who lived there in late 19th/ early 20th centuries.






THIS BY FAR WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN PARIS!

It was the REAL Paris. There were painters, music, and great views to take in. BREATHTAKING!

PARIS - Château de Versailles

When the château was built, Versailles was a country village; today, however, it is a suburb of Paris, some twenty kilometers southwest of the French capital. The court of Versailles was the center of political power in France from 1682, when Louis XIV moved from Paris, until 1789.
This place was absolutely beautiful! Every room was so elegant! When Louis XIV was crowned king he used over half of France's money to build this glorious palace and its surroundings. Here we saw many paintings, Marie Antoinette's area, and my favorite...the hall of mirrors! So cool!

Musée du Louvre

The Musée du Louvre is one of the world's largest museums, the most visited museum in the world, and a historic monument. It is a central landmark of Paris, France. Nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 19th century are exhibited over an area of 652,300 square feet.

Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower was Breathtaking! The first day we went and saw it at night and saw the light show. The third day we went up the Eiffel Tower nearly to the very top! We accidently bought the wrong ticket. So, instead of taking the elevator we had to take the stairs ALL the way up. Such a great and tiring experience! I also added some videos :)

PARIS - Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Cathedral is the cathedral of the Catholic archdiocese of Paris: that is, it is the church that contains the official chair of the Archbishop of Paris. The cathedral took over 200 years to build and was finished in 1345. It was so beautiful to see! the inside was breathtaking. Notre Dame de Paris is widely considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture in the world.

PARIS - Around the City

Paris is by far the prettiest place I've ever seen. We visited so many places and saw so many things in just 3 days! I took so many pictures I'll have to make the trip in a few posts. These pictures are from just walking around the city going from one pace to the next. With Love...
